Nadat wij jullie een maand geleden het bericht hebben doorgestuurd, dat er geen Favela Fantasy 2009 zou zijn, is het bestuur van stichting Wereldzzz, achter de schermen hard doorgegaan.Na gesprekken en aanpassingen ontvingen wij, vanmiddag (24/4/2009) het volgende bericht van subsidiegever Xplore: 'We hebben de toelichting op Favela Fantasy 2009 bekeken en zijn tevreden over het resultaat. Zowel de stage als de uitwisseling zijn sterk verbeterd en komen in aanmerking voor Xplore-subsidie'.

Maar, waar we normaal maanden voorbereidingstijd hebben, is dat nu enkele dagen. Toch hebben we besloten een poging te doen, een zo goed mogelijk project te draaien. Deelnamekosten: -uitwisseling én stage beide 400 euro (aanpassing prijs stage ivm periode) In beide gevallen wordt er met de groep samen nog extra geld gegenereerd.
We zoeken: -deelnemers voor Stage en Uitwisseling plm 16 - 24 jaar met name MBO-studenten, maar anderen kunnen reageren affiniteit met sport -potentiele begeleiders voor de uitwisseling én/of voorbereiding (want alles moet nu sneller)
We vragen iedereen opnieuw te reageren, ook al had je je al opgegeven ! Wanneer je geinteresseerd bent, vraag dan zsm op
het 'intakeformulier' aan. Iedereen die het formulier instuurt, wordt uitgenodigd voor een kennismaking.
Wij voorzien dat, door het late tijdstip, het aantal deelnemers nu het grootste probleem wordt. Voldoe je dan ook niet helemaal aan het profiel, of kom je in de knoop met één van de voorbereidingsdata, kan je rustig reageren.
Aan de slag ! We zijn donders blij en hartstikke trots dat allles toch door gaat. Dat we tientallen noordelijke jongeren een geweldige ervaring kunnen bieden én vooral ook, dat we de kinderen in de favela's een stuk verder helpen. Maar, het zal ontzettend druk worden. Alle hulp is welkom !!!
